Padding is a procedure used to hold books or sets together by an adhesive compound spread across the edge of the sheets. NCR, or carbonless forms, are an example of individual padded sets. We offer padding in all sizes and quantities.
In the industry of trade printing, a padding finish refers to the binding of a stack of sheets, by using a flexible adhesive along one edge of a stack of same-sized sheets. The adhesive secures the sheets as a unit, but allows the top sheet to be easily removed when needed. Most of the time, padded sheets has a chipboard or cardboard backer for improved rigidity. A print project with padding finish can be a notepad, a memo pad, order pads, and other useful, everyday applications.
